The JHS Twin Twelve was the first of its kind upon its release, choosing to emulate the tone of the highly regarded Silvertone 1484 "Twin Twelve" amplifier, known for its great clean tones as well as the wonderfully heavy overdriven sounds that it is capable of.
The 60 Watt Silvertone 1484 was known for its rough and ready sound, which JHS have painstakingly recreated using a combination of discreet transistor stages and a 2 band EQ painstakingly designed to replicate the sound of the original amp. The result is an extremely versatile and truly amp like overdrive. Using the JHS Twin Twelve with the gain rolled counter clockwise and the volume up will give you a nice clean boost sound with flexible EQ controls, and as the gain is increased the Twin Twelve gives as much authentic vintage tube amp distortion as anyone could need. The Twin Twelve is compatible with the JHS Red Remote, so the dirt/clean clipping toggle can be trigged remotely, making it the perfect tool for live performance.
With the original amps becoming increasingly hard to find, the JHS Pedals Twin Twelve is a brilliantly versatile drive pedal capable of great vintage tube tones.
Combining sleek designs with a great tones, JHS Pedals are regarded as some of the finest sounding hand made guitar effects pedals on the market.
