This year sees a series of guitars from Fender celebrating the 60th anniversary of the release of the Jazzmaster model in 1958. Over the years the Fender Jazzmaster has become one of the most iconic instruments from the companies golden era. Initially introduced as the top of the line model designed to replace the Stratocaster, the Jazzmaster quickly found favour with more alternative or avant-garde musical styles, and countless musicians have been inspired by the Jazzmasters unique tone since then. Always a platform for modification, countless DIY builders and artists alike have customised Jazzmasters over the year, and the 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster is a fitting tribute to that ethos.
The 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster is a unique Fender instrument, combining elements of modern guitar design with nods to Fenders past. Featuring a 60's inspired Daphne Blue Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish and bound neck, the Triple Jazzmaster is a combination of classic Fender styling an innovative electronics. Comprising three newly designed Tim Shaw humbuckers, the 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster is extremely versatile, capable of both chiming, crisp clean tones and more powerful, raw punch with an overdriven amp.
