Earthquaker Devices are arguably the most well known boutique effects pedal maker in the world, with a selection of pedals that is hugely diverse and encompasses both functionality and insanity in equal measure. All of their pedals are lovingly handmade in Akron, Ohio.
The Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct is a True Pitch Vibrato capable of a whole range pitch modulations, covering everything from subtle vinyl or tape style warble, 60's amp-like rich vibrato and extreme envelope controlled sonic pitch warping. The Aqueduct offers 8 different modulation modes, each with their own unique character and with plenty of versatility for different playing styles on tap. The Sine, Triangle, Ramp & Square modes offer a selection of waveform shapes capable of vintage voiced amp vibrato sounds, synth like pulsating modulations and tones that touch on classic Chorus and Flanger sounds. Random mode introduces a vibrato effect that can be used intuitively with the Rate and Depth controls to conjure everything from warped record style sounds to extremely unpredictable modulations with the controls cranked.
The Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct True Pitch Vibrato also features three envelope modes for even greater tonal experimentation. Both the Rate and the Depth can be controlled by the dynamics of your playing when using the 'Env R' and 'Env D' modes. The Aqueduct really comes in to its own with the inclusion of the Envelope Pitch mode, with the player being able to variate the pitch modulation with the dynamics of their playing, resulting in a tone that can move effortlessly between subtle Chorus sounds to more agressive tremolo arm pitch bends.
