Until they were discontinued in 2017, the American Standard range from Fender was the accumulation of 60 years experience. Instilled with Leo Fender’s incredible legacy the American Standard embodies Fender's age old tradition of expertly handmade original guitars. From 2000 to 2008, Fender dropped the 'Standard' from the name of their American models, although the spec remains largely the same as American Standard guitars pre and post this period. This American Stratocaster from 2001 is a typically excellent example, with an Alder body fitted with a set of Alnico 5 American Standard pickups with plenty of classic Strat tone. This guitar also features a 2-point synchronized tremolo and Maple neck with a modern “C” neck profile, 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets.
Condition / Originality:
The guitar is in excellent condition and is very clean. It retains its original hard case but does not include a tremolo arm.
