The Ibanez guitars manufactured in the 1970's have developed a huge cult following due to their exceptional build quality, with many believing the instruments from this period to rival those of their American contemporaries. After many years of making direct replicas of the Gibson Les Paul, the PF200 is the first guitar produced outside of their 'lawsuit' period, with them forced to changed many aspects of the design to make them less similar to the Les Paul. The PF200 features a chambered body design that makes the instrument extremely resonant while also offering some weight relief. This PF is also equipped with the highly rated Ibanez Super 70's pickups, offering a great deal of clarity and bite when pushing a tube amp.
Condition / Originality: This guitar is in good condition, although it does exhibit some signs of cosmetic wear as you would expect from a guitar of its age. The guitar also includes what would appear to be a period correct hard shell case.
