The Harmony H59 was released in 1959 forming part of Harmony's Rocket series. Features include 3 gold foil single coil pickups, a four-way pickup switch, a total of six control knobs (volume & tone for each pickup) floating bridge, trapeze style tailpiece, bolt on steel reinforced neck and 3-a-side open back tuners.
The H-59 was Harmony's equivalent to the Gibson Switchmaster, aimed at giving the player maximum control over the instrument with the use of pickup combinations and individual vol/tone controls for each. There are seven different pickup combinations available, including all three at once!
These are firm favourites here at VGB. 60's Harmony's represent excellent value for money, and are developing quite a following with players looking for good quality vintage on a budget. This example is in stunning condition showing hardly any wear. Indeed I don't think we've seen a cleaner one!
